At Hablandis, I support teachers and schools in the planning and organisation of language immersion programmes in Málaga. I guide visiting groups through the entire process, help everything run smoothly, and try to solve problems before anyone even notices they might exist.
This may have something to do with the fact that I am also an English and Spanish teacher, with many years of experience working with children and young people. That background helps me understand both the educational value of immersion programmes and the real-life logistics behind organising them – and to effectively communicate what truly makes our programmes meaningful.
I genuinely believe in what we do at Hablandis, and encouraging others to take part in an experience you truly trust and understand makes all the difference.

About Peter
I am a Spanish teacher (and former math teacher!), having taught for 26 years, with an interlude of a dozen years as a toy executive for several US companies. Interlude aside, education is my great passion, and language/cultural immersion is at the core of this passion. I have designed and led student trips to Costa Rica, Guatemala, Panamá, Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. It is time to focus on Spain, where my time in the Summer of '25 at Hablandis as a student in its TEFL certification program led to a love affair with Málaga, Spanish culture, and the beautiful and talented people of Hablandis.
